Marine operations: clean oil on board
On ships, offline filtration in a kidney loop is the established solution in the systems where centrifuges have never been fitted: stern tube, thrusters, gearboxes, steering gear and hydraulics. The aim is to keep the oil clean and the equipment running, with samples that document the effect.
Where there are both particles and water
Stern tubes and gearboxes with water ingress are a classic task. The cartridge captures particles down to 0.1 µm and binds free and emulsified water, and the system runs while the ship is under way.
A cartridge does, however, have a finite water capacity. With constant, heavy water ingress, a system with continuous water separation is the right choice, and we will tell you if that is the case on your vessel.
MGO and diesel tanks on board
Stored distillate collects water and bottom sludge, just like tanks on land. The PT series cleans MGO in a kidney loop (fuel polishing), without any intervention in the fuel system.
Compact and easy to handle on board
The smallest model, DX1525, weighs 13 kg. The cartridge is the system's only wear part and can be changed by the crew.

Samples analysed quickly
We analyse oil samples ourselves, and results arrive within a few days. We promise an honest technical dialogue: if the solution does not suit your equipment, we will say so.
